Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. For me, this is personal. From my grandmother’s piano lessons to my wife’s elementary classroom, education is my family's legacy. Here is my thank you to the teachers who build our Waynesboro community every day.

The standard of excellence in our schools shouldn't be limited by an arbitrary cap. It’s time to bridge the $2.1 million revenue gap and invest in the $0.87 tax rate recommended by city staff.

Our schools are the engine of Waynesboro’s success. To build a bridge to the future, we must strengthen the connection between our classrooms, our families, and our city’s vitality.
